Sales Service Technician

Chicago, IL - Full Time

As a Sales-Driven Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional on-site service and driving sales. You will assess customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and leverage your sales skills to offer value-added services. Equipped with a company vehicle, phone, and laptop, you will be empowered to succeed in this dynamic and rewarding role.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide on-site service for systems such as sump pumps, sump pits, ensuring high-quality results for residential.
  • Assess customer needs through a consultative approach, effectively communicating findings and offering tailored solutions to address specific requirements.
  • Drive sales by identifying upsell opportunities and confidently closing the sale during service visits.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs on installed equipment and systems.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, services provided, and sales transactions using company-provided tools such as Salesforce
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or preventative maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to recommend appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
  • Technical skills to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
