The Sales Manager (Field) is integral to driving sales and fostering the growth of our sales team. This role demands a combination of exceptional personal sales capabilities and the aptitude to mentor and develop a team of sales consultants specializing in concrete lifting and attic insulation. Responsibilities include personal selling, scheduling and managing sales appointments, and conducting in-field coaching sessions with sales consultants. Additionally, the Sales Manager (Field) will play a key role in training new hires and providing targeted coaching to improve the performance of underachieving representatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Sales Leadership:
- Drive personal sales to meet and exceed individual and team targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and overall team performance.
- Coaching and Development:
- Conduct side-by-side coaching sessions during ride-alongs with consultants.
- Provide coaching and actionable insights to improve sales performance.
- Identify and address training needs for new hires and underperforming reps.
- Identify and address field-related challenges, implementing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, results, and related communications.
- Team Support:
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales consultants.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team.
- Implement training programs to enhance the team's selling skills.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Foster customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Represent Perma-Seal in a professional and positive manner.

- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of service delivery, customer support, and quality control.
