The Installation Manager role is responsible for overseeing and conducting complex installation and deployment of products or services. This position involves leading installation teams, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and schedule, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position plays a critical role in delivering successful installations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead and mentor installation teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee complex installation projects, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials for installations to meet project requirements.
  • Interact with customers to assess project needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage and resolve customer issues, complaints and escalations.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of installation processes, product knowledge, and industry best practices.
  • Manage installation project budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance.
  • Generate detailed reports on project status, key performance indicators, and installation metrics.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure that installation teams adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Address complex installation challenges and issues, finding effective solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance installation processes, efficiency, and quality.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Extensive understanding of installation processes, technical knowledge, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities to motivate, mentor, and guide installation teams.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools for overseeing complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team management and customer interactions.
  • Ability to analyze complex project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
  • Dedication to understanding complex customer needs and delivering solutions.
  • Proficient in allocating resources effectively to meet complex project requirements.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project demands and priorities.
  • Strong commitment to safety regulations and protocols for complex installation activities.
